Biography

Skylar Evans is a professional supermodel, equestrian, studio artist and up and coming Registered Dietitian/PA from the Oglala Lakota Nation. She is a powerhouse both on and off the stage in addition to being a powerful influencer on the Indigenous Platform.
Skylar was the first Native American model to be signed to the Undefined Models roster in the NYC market. She has also been signed to agencts in LA and Miami. She has ample runway experience and has walked every elite high fashion production both Indigenous and non-indigenous. On stage, she is known for her professionalism and powerful presence. Outside of modeling, Skylar has been a competitive Equestrian since age 4 and has won several prestigious equine competitions. She developed her equine training, lesson and nutrition program, Greatness in the Saddle in 2017.
Skylar is a current recipient of the Dominion Energy Equity Scholarship and was a recipient of the Dorothy MacRae Hyman Award through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is also a Native Scholar through the Native Jumpstart Program. Skylar received her bachelors of science with a major in studio art with a concentration in painting from the College of Art and Design at the University of Oregon. She is currently completing her second and third bachelors in Dietetics and Animal Science through Kansas State University and her Masters in Clinical Nutrition through Sonoran University of Health Sciences. She has her eyes on PA school and hopes to make a signifcant in health care.
